Now that we have pretty much wrapped up wedding season for 2012, I want to take a moment to introduce Katie. Although all of the staff at Amore Fiori play a part in the weddings we create, Katie was the leader this season and designed beautiful weddings from rustic vintage to crystal elegance.
Here is Katie in her own words:
“Growing up in Denver I always knew I would never have a typical office job. I can’t remember exactly how old I was when I began my love of flowers. I do remember the first time I saw the lovely Audrey Hepburn in her classic role as Eliza Dolittle in the film “My Fair Lady”, I wanted to emulate her and become a lady in a flower shop…..so I did. I pursued my dream.
I have shared my experience and passion for floral design with the people of Denver for more than ten years. The three things in life that bring me the most joy are flowers, music and dogs! If they are in the same place at the same time you can bet this girl will be beaming from ear to ear.
I really don’t predict my life changing directions away from the floral industry. I work very hard to always stay current on new trends and techniques as to create unique and spectacular designs for our clients.”
